1. Your Data, Your Choices
At Jovi, we believe you should have control over how your data is collected and used. This page explains the choices available to you and how to exercise them.
2. Permissions You Control
The following permissions are requested by the Jovi app. Each can be granted or revoked at any time through your device's Settings app.

RequiredNo. The app functions without photo library access, but you will not be able to add portfolio photos.

PurposeShow gigs and beauty professionals near you. Display relevant job listings based on your geographic area.
RequiredNo. The app functions without location access, but job results will not be filtered by proximity.

3. Profile Visibility
You can control who sees your profile through the Privacy Settings screen in the App.
Public
Anyone on Jovi can view your profile.
Connections Only
Only your connections can view your profile.
Private
Your profile is hidden from other users.
Control whether you appear in search results. Control whether your distance is displayed on your profile. 4. Communication Preferences
In-App MessagesYou can control who can message you (Everyone or Connections Only) through Privacy Settings in the App.
Email CommunicationsTransactional emails (account verification, password reset) are sent automatically and cannot be opted out of while your account is active. We do not send promotional marketing emails.
5. Data Collection Preferences
AnalyticsThe Jovi app uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data. This data helps us understand how the App is used and improve the experience. Analytics data is collected in aggregate and cannot identify you personally.
Crash ReportingFirebase Crashlytics automatically collects crash data to help us fix technical issues. This data includes device type, OS version, and crash stack traces but does not include personal information.
6. Exercising Your Rights
Access Your DataView and edit your profile and personal information at any time through the App.
Delete Your DataDelete your account and all associated data through Profile > Account > Delete Account in the App.
Request Data ExportEmail support@thejoviapp.com to request a copy of your personal data. We will respond within 45 days. 7. Blocking and Reporting
You can block users and report inappropriate content or behavior through the App. When viewing another user's profile, tap the menu icon to access Report and Block options.
Reports are reviewed by our team and appropriate action is taken in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
